Innovative One Sack Drilling Fluid System EZY BORE™
EZY BORE™ is a high performance, one sack solution designed for excellent borehole cleaning, fluid loss reduction, improving the rate of penetration, enhancing cutting removal and core recovery. EZY BORE™ provides superior borehole stability by shielding clay and shale from disintegration by water, preventing them from becoming wet and sloughing into the hole. EZY BORE™ instantaneously envelops the surface of the core as it is being cut with a protective polymeric shield, ensuring that the core sample is not deteriorated or washed throughout the coring and retrieval process.

Usage
EZY BORE™ is ready to be mixed into water straight from the package. It doesn’t require extensive mixing – just make sure it is spread evenly in the entire water volume. Allow 3 to 5 minutes of hydration and you have a high performance drilling fluid.
Unlike typical drilling fluids, which require a variety of different materials to make a high performance slurry, EZY BORE™ is ready to be mixed into water straight from the package.
When you add water to your slurry, viscosity may go down. Make sure you add some EZY BORE™ to maintain the desired viscosity level.
The amount required depends on the type and the characteristics of the drilling fluid and the geological conditions of the site.
Recommended dosage:
Recommended dosage in most types of grounds is 500g per 1m3 of water. In porous formations, the concentration should be higher: 1-1.5kg/m3 due to the fluid loss.
- Sand, gravel: 1-1.5kg/m3
- Clay, shale: 0.5-0.7 kg/m3
- Hard rock: 0.2-0.5 kg/m3
Lost circulation:
In fractured, permeable formations, we recommend to use EZY BORE™ together with GDP EZY PLUG™ swellable polymer LCM. It absorbs water 150-300 times its own weight and effectively stops fluid loss.
